This policy explains what information Foxdoo Technologies Inc. ("we", "us") collects through this website, foxdootech.com, and how we handle it. We keep it short because we collect very little.
1. Scope
This policy covers the foxdootech.com corporate website only. Our products are governed by their own policies — for Foxlot, see the Foxlot privacy policy. If you use Foxlot as a business owner or book an appointment through a business that uses Foxlot, that policy applies, not this one.
2. What we collect
This website is a static informational site. It has no user accounts, no sign-up forms, and no advertising or analytics trackers. The only information involved is:
- Server logs. Like almost every website, our web server automatically records standard access logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps). We use them only to keep the site secure and running, and they are rotated and deleted in the ordinary course.
- Language preference. Your EN/中文 choice is stored in your own browser (localStorage). It never leaves your device and you can clear it in your browser at any time.
- Email you send us. If you email [email protected], we receive your address and whatever you write. We use it to reply to you and keep the correspondence as long as reasonably needed.
3. Cookies
We do not set advertising or analytics cookies. Apart from the browser-side language preference described above, this site does not track you.
4. Third-party services
Web fonts on this site are loaded from Google Fonts and Fontshare. When your browser fetches those fonts, those providers receive your IP address as part of the request, under their own privacy policies. We do not otherwise share, sell, or rent any information about visitors.
5. Disclosure
We disclose information only if required by law, or to protect our legal rights, and even then only the minimum necessary.
6. Where we operate
We are a company incorporated in British Columbia, Canada, and we handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and BC's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
7. Children
This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
8. Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with an updated effective date.
